Video Editor (DaVinci Resolve)

**About the Role**
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Edit long-form and short-form video content using DaVinci Resolve
- Work with multicam footage and synchronize multiple camera angles
- Create engaging cuts with strong pacing and storytelling
- Add and style captions accurately
- Perform basic color correction and audio enhancement
- Organize project files, media assets, timelines, and backups
- Export content for multiple platforms and formats
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently
- Communicate project progress, timelines, and potential roadblocks proactively

**What We're Looking For**
- Experience using DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of video editing workflows
- Ability to manage and edit large video files efficiently
- Experience or familiarity with multicam editing workflows
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
- Coachable mindset and openness to feedback
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Curiosity and willingness to continuously improve editing skills

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience syncing multicam footage
- Knowledge of audio cleanup, EQ, compression, and balancing
- Basic color correction and camera matching
- Experience creating and styling captions
- Understanding of codecs, compression, export settings, and platform-specific deliverables
- Familiarity with troubleshooting common editing and media management issues

**English Requirements**
- Strong conversational English
- Ability to understand American accents, casual conversation, and editing feedback
- Comfortable communicating updates, questions, and project status in English

**Technical Requirements**
- Computer
- Windows or Mac

**Minimum Requirements**
- Modern computer capable of handling professional video editing workloads
- 32GB RAM recommended
- Dedicated GPU preferred

**Storage**
- Minimum 512GB SSD storage
- 1TB SSD preferred
- Ability to work from internal SSD or fast external SSD

**Internet**
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Ability to download and upload large video files efficiently

**Equipment**
- Headphones required for editing and review

**Compensation**
- $6–$8 USD per hour
- Compensation based on experience, technical qualifications, and overall fit
