I'm a videographer producing professional content for large comapnies and industries in several industries all over the world. I'm looking for an experienced editor and colourist to handle post-production to a high finishing standard. This is not an entry-level role. I need someone who edits with intent and grades with a trained eye, not someone learning on my footage.
You'll be cutting and grading real client deliverables, so polish, consistency, and meeting brief are non-negotiable.
What you'll do
- Edit footage into polished, broadcast-quality deliverables — narrative flow, pacing, rhythm, and clean cuts
- Colour grade in DaVinci Resolve — primaries, secondaries, node-based grading, matching shots across a sequence, and building a consistent look
- Work with high-bit-depth footage (10-bit 4:2:2 and, increasingly, RAW / Log) — correct exposure and white balance, then grade for mood
- Sync and mix audio to a clean, professional level
- Add titles, lower-thirds, and light motion graphics as needed
- Deliver in correct formats and specs for each platform/client
- Take direction, iterate on revisions, and hit deadlines reliably
What I'm looking for
- Strong, demonstrable experience in DaVinci Resolve — both the edit and colour pages. This is the core requirement.
- A solid portfolio of professional work — I want to see real client deliverables, not student exercises or template edits. Show me your grading specifically.
- A genuine eye for colour — you understand colour theory, scopes (waveform/vectorscope), and how to grade Log/RAW, not just slap on a LUT
- Comfort working with high-quality codecs and large files
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency across a project
- Reliable communication and the ability to manage your own time across revisions
I am currently looking for a remote role but if we're a good fit I do not rule out discussing other options.
