Video Editor – Aviation & Travel YouTube Channel

We're looking for a skilled video editor to join the team behind a major aviation and travel YouTube channel with over 1 million subscribers. This is a full-time remote position with consistent, recurring work.

You'll be editing long-form YouTube videos covering airline reviews, hotel reviews, and aviation content. This includes working with multi-cam footage, narration, b-roll, and screen recordings, cutting to pace for strong audience retention, adding graphics, text overlays, and music, and managing file organization and project delivery on deadline.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro (non-negotiable).
- Demonstrated experience editing for other YouTube creators, ideally channels with 100K+ subscribers.
- A genuine knowledge of aviation — you must be able to identify aircraft types (e.g., A350 vs. 787, A380 vs. 747) from footage. This will be tested during the interview.
- Understanding of YouTube best practices including pacing, retention, and chapter structure.
- Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines across time zones.

Nice to have:
- Interest in travel and airlines.
- Experience with motion graphics.
- Familiarity with YouTube analytics and how editing choices affect retention.
