Position Overview:
Role: Video Editor (Contract/1099)
Location: Philippines (remote)
Pay: $10 USD/hour
Hours: Full-time preferred
Reports To: Director of Marketing
Main Purpose of the Role:
Transform raw footage into polished, high-performing video content for:
1. Paid advertising campaigns (primary focus)
2. Long-form YouTube videos
3. Organic social media content (as the company grows)
Key Responsibilities:
Paid Ads (Primary)
Edit ad creatives from provided footage.
Create platform-specific versions (TikTok,
Maintain consistent pacing, branding, captions, and quality standards.
Long-Form Video
Edit YouTube content.
Improve viewer retention through strong pacing, structure, and storytelling.
Organic Content
Create short-form social media content.
Adapt edits to platform trends and native content styles.
Communication & Workflow
Receive briefs and feedback from the Director of Marketing.
Deliver projects quickly and accurately.
Maintain clear communication and meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have:
Strong video editing portfolio or reel.
Experience with:
Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe After Effects
CapCut
DaVinci Resolve
(at least one required)
Fluent written and spoken English.
Experience editing:
Paid ads
Short-form social content
Long-form video
Reliable internet and equipment.
Preferred:
Motion graphics skills.
Caption and title design experience.
YouTube editing experience.
Experience in health, wellness, or maternal content.
Ideal Candidate:

Able to follow creative direction closely.
Delivers high-quality first drafts with minimal revisions.
Reliable, responsive, and self-managed.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
