Underwriting Coordinator

Role Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Underwriting Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end process of Merchant Processing Agreements (MPAs), including collecting necessary documentation, obtaining signatures, and ensuring timely submissions to the Underwriting team. You will be a key point of contact for underwriting communications, supporting a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for merchants.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete Merchant Processing Agreements (MPAs) for submission.
Obtain and manage required merchant signatures and supporting documentation.
Communicate directly with the Underwriting team to address any questions or issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of submission statuses and merchant files.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure timely merchant account approvals.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the MPA process and documentation workflows.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in payment processing, financial services, or underwriting support is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in CRM tools and document management systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
