UX/UI Designer - Shopify E-Commerce Store

Job Description:
As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback. You will create both functional and appealing features that address our needs and help us grow our customer base and improve our ability to convert traffic. Your primary focus will be designing the Shopify storefront and landing pages, optimizing navigation and the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities:
• Design UX/UI frameworks for Shopify-based e-commerce platforms from concept to completion.
• Create and optimize user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with project managers and developers to implement designs into technology.
• Stay abreast of UX trends and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
Ensure all versions of project UX/UI designs are precise before delivery.
Apply feedback received from the marketing and product design teams to ensure that the website’s design aligns with brand strategy and adheres to established branding guidelines.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio of design projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Axure, Marvel, or InVision.
• In-depth knowledge of Shopify’s platform capabilities, including its default themes and customization techniques.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and an ability to adapt interfaces for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Degree in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field.
