UI UX Software Designer

We are in the process of rebuilding the CodeWP platform, a tool that enables WordPress users to create code snippets and multi-file plugins. Our goal is to enhance the platform using VS Code for the web as the core interface, integrating advanced AI capabilities, testing functionalities, and a custom user interface design. We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to rethink and redesign the platform using the Visual Studio Code Toolkit.

Responsibilities:

Redesign the existing CodeWP interface using Figma.
Use the Visual Studio Code Toolkit from Microsoft to create a cohesive and functional design.
Think through and implement user flows, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Carry over and integrate existing features from the current CodeWP platform.
Design specific components such as mode selection and mode archives within the interface.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design toolkits.
Experience designing for developer tools or similar platforms is a plus.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability.
Ability to think through complex user flows and translate them into intuitive interfaces.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
