Position Overview:
The In-House Dispatcher will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our fleet, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing routes to ensure maximum efficiency. This role will work closely with drivers, customers, and the operations team to ensure that deliveries are made on time and according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- **Route Management:** Plan and assign delivery routes to drivers, ensuring the most efficient and cost-effective routes are selected.
- **Communication:** Maintain clear and constant communication with drivers to provide updates, address issues, and ensure timely deliveries.
- **Customer Service:** Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all delivery requirements are met and resolving any issues that arise.
- **Driver Support:** Act as the main point of contact for drivers, answering questions, providing support, and assisting with any delivery issues or concerns.
- **Schedule Coordination:** Monitor and track deliveries to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs. Adjust schedules as necessary due to unforeseen delays or issues.
- **Problem-Solving:** Handle any issues or delays that may arise, coordinating with the operations team, customers, and drivers to find solutions.
- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, routes, and customer interactions. Ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.
- **Fleet Management Support:** Assist with maintaining the fleet, ensuring that vehicles are in good working condition and ready for operation.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or dispatching (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using dispatch software and other office tools
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus, but not required).
