We are a California-based Real Estate Brokerage seeking a Transaction Coordinator to join our team on a direct hire basis. This is a stable, long-term position with opportunities for growth within our brokerage. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of previous Transaction Coordination (TC) or Real Estate Compliance experience.
About the Role:
As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in the success of real estate transactions by ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance throughout the process. You will be responsible for diligently reviewing files for contractual compliance, mitigating potential issues, and enhancing the overall integrity of our real estate transactions.
Hours: Full Time - 40hr per week 8a-5pm M-F (PST)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review & Approval:
Evaluate and approve documents in Skyslope, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Create a comprehensive Contact Sheet for each transaction.
Timeline Management:
Calculate timelines for transactions, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
Proactively manage and communicate timelines to relevant parties.
Transaction Documentation:
Order Home Warranty as requested by involved parties.
Transmit terms, demands, and any other necessary documents to the escrow team.
File Closure:
Efficiently close files at the conclusion of each transaction, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
Contractual Compliance:
Scrutinize transaction files for contractual compliance.
Mitigate the risk of potential legal issues by identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills:
Previous Real Estate transaction management experience required.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office is required.
Experience with Skyslope or other transaction management software is a plus.
Experience with Follow Up Boss is a plus.
Comfortable with technology and quick to adapt to new tools and software.
Self-Motivation:
Capable of working independently and efficiently on repetitive tasks.
Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Detail-Oriented:
Strong attention to detail to identify and rectify discrepancies.
