Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Paralegal with 2-3 years of specialized experience in trademark filings to join our Colorado-based law firm. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines. The paralegal will work directly with clients, including small to mid-sized business owners, and collaborate with internal legal assistants. No certifications are required, but a strong understanding of the trademark filing process, particularly with the USPTO, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Trademark Filings: Handle all aspects of trademark filings with the USPTO, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
Client Interaction: Communicate directly with small to mid-sized business owners to gather information, provide updates, and address concerns related to trademark filings.
Research: Conduct research on trademark processes and related legal issues to support filings and ensure the protection of clients' intellectual property.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal legal assistants to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
Organizational Skills: Manage multiple trademark filings, track deadlines, and ensure all documentation is filed promptly.
Phone Support: Provide phone support as needed (approximately 1 call/day) using a provided phone system.

Must-Haves:

2-3 years of experience specifically in trademark filings and processes, particularly with the USPTO.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, particularly small to mid-sized business owners.
Experience conducting research related to trademark law.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience working in a law firm or legal environment.
Familiarity with various industries, such as F&B, Construction, or other sectors requiring trademark filings.
Experience with legal software tools (training will be provided).

Tools and Training:

All necessary tools and software will be provided.
Training will be offered to familiarize you with our systems and processes.

Schedule/Time Zone:

Must be available to work during the specified working hours in the Mountain time zone.
Will start working part-time hours but will transition to a full-time role over time.
