The Opportunity
We aren't a volume shop. As a boutique recruiting firm, we partner with high-growth, venture-backed startups to solve their most difficult hiring challenges. We're former internal recruiters who worked at the world's leading technology companies turned operator.
Unlike traditional contingent agencies focused on speed and volume, we run a select number of searches with a true research-driven methodology. We are looking for a Technical Recruiter / Researcher who views recruiting as an investigative craft. You will be the architect behind our search strategies, building comprehensive market maps and identifying the 1% of Engineering, Product, and Design talent that others miss.
Core Responsibilities
Market Mapping: Execute deep-dive research to visualize talent ecosystems within specific sectors (e.g., AI/ML, Fintech, SaaS). You’ll identify where the best talent is hiding and track team structures at top-tier startups.
Strategic Sourcing: Build robust, high-quality candidate pipelines for EPD (Engineering, Product, Design) roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, Github, Crunchbase, patent searches or other means specific to the role.
Deep Research: Beyond just names, you will provide intelligence on headcount trends, funding rounds, and competitor moves to help our clients make informed hiring decisions.
Data Integrity: Maintain pristine Google Sheets, ensuring our market maps and talent lists are accurate and actionable.
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ Years of Experience: Specifically sourcing/recruiting for Engineering, Product and Design roles within the US venture-funded startup ecosystem (Seed through Series D).
LinkedIn Recruiter Mastery: You know the tool inside and out and you know how to use filters to find the needle in the haystack.
Startup Fluency: You understand the nuances of the startup profile—you know which companies have high talent density and what it takes to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Analytical Mindset: You enjoy the hunt. You are comfortable spending hours researching a specific niche to build a comprehensive list of 100 perfect candidates.
