Position Overview:
We are seeking a Superior Bookkeeper and Clean-Up Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated professional with experience in handling complex bookkeeping tasks, performing account reconciliations, and performing data clean-up for businesses. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and cleaning up books to ensure they meet compliance standards. This role requires availability to work during Pacific Time Zone business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including general ledger and bank reconciliations.
Clean up and organize bookkeeping records for clients with previous errors or incomplete information.
Conduct thorough account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Collaborate with the tax team to provide clear financial reports and information needed for tax planning and filing.
Use QuickBooks Online (QBO) or similar accounting software to manage bookkeeping tasks.
Communicate regularly with clients to obtain necessary documentation and provide financial clarity.
Maintain high attention to detail in all bookkeeping activities.
Meet deadlines for financial reporting and tax-related tasks.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with expertise in clean-up and complex reconciliations.
Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) software.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot bookkeeping issues.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
Must be available to work during Pacific Time Zone hours.
