Offshore Structural & Civil Engineer – Residential & Commercial Design

Are you an experienced and dedicated Structural Engineer looking for a long-term role with a busy Australian team?

We are seeking a self-starter, problem solver, and disciplined engineer to join our growing offshore team. This is a great opportunity to work on residential and commercial projects in Australia while expanding your skills with Australian Standards and design practices.

About the Role

You will be responsible for structural design and drafting for houses and small buildings, including steel, timber, masonry, and concrete structures.

Your key tasks will include:

3D structural modelling in SpaceGass (or similar)

Structural design of residential and small commercial buildings

Drafting and detailing in AutoCAD

RC building modelling and analysis

Preparing clear documentation for construction and approvals

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Strong 3D modelling and structural analysis skills (SpaceGass or equivalent)

Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting

Experience in steel, timber, masonry, and concrete design

Good organisational and communication skills

Willingness to learn and apply Australian Standards (AS/NZS codes)

Experience with stormwater pipes and pits would be great
