Our work spans SaaS platforms, internal systems, and client-facing digital products, with a strong emphasis on thoughtful product design, clean architecture, and long-term maintainability. One of the key platforms you may work on is Metarelic People, our HR and payroll SaaS used by organizations across the Caribbean.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong experience in Laravel, and working knowledge of Livewire and/or React, to help build and evolve our core SaaS platform.

This is a long-term role (not a short project). You will work on real production systems used daily by customers.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Build and maintain features in a Laravel-based SaaS platform
- Develop interactive user interfaces using Livewire and React
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Work with queues, background jobs, and event-driven logic
- Review code and contribute to architectural decisions
- Collaborate asynchronously with tea ---------- mbers across time zones
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and code quality


REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong experience with Laravel
- Experience with Livewire and/or React
- Good understanding of MVC architecture and REST APIs
- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Git and team-based workflows
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable working remotely in an async environment


NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building SaaS or multi-tenant systems
- Experience with queues or background jobs
- Familiarity with TailwindCSS or modern frontend tooling
- Basic testing experience (PHPUnit, Pest, or frontend tests)
- Previous experience working with distributed teams
