Software Engineer

Job Summary:

As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in both technical and hands-on engineering work. Your responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of new features, maintaining and improving existing systems, and resolving technical issues, particularly those related to third-party applications.

Responsibilities:

Engineering Work:
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of new functionalities into existing systems.
-Complete tasks related to building new features and implementing items in our V2 platform using project management tools like Linear.
-Develop and maintain codebases, ensuring high-quality code standards and adherence to best practices.
-Work closely with the Head of Engineering and other engineers to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.

Bug Fixing and Maintenance:
-Take ownership of identifying and resolving bugs, especially those related to third-party integrations and post-implementation issues.
-Perform thorough debugging and troubleshooting to efficiently isolate and address technical issues.
-Collaborate with teams to ensure software quality and reliability through comprehensive testing and validation processes.

Requirements:
-5 years of experience in software development.
-Strong proficiency in software development with experience in building and maintaining scalable web applications.
-Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and Typescript, and experience with relevant frameworks and libraries.
-Experience with project management tools like Linear or similar platforms for task management and collaboration.
-In-depth knowledge of API integrations and third-party app implementations, with a focus on troubleshooting and bug fixing.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to effectively identify and resolve technical issues.
-Blend of technical expertise for assisting in implementation projects.
-Strong hands-on engineering capabilities to drive the development and maintenance of software solutions.
