JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview:
As a Community and Outreach Specialist, your role will connect our organization with the community through social media platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with and build relationships with other organizations, the public, and potential new students.
This position is vital for shaping our brand's voice, improving our social presence, and fostering meaningful connections across our social media platforms.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Guiding conversations through comments and messages to encourage prospects to book sales calls with our team.
- Respond to comments and engage with followers on all social media platforms.
- Participating in external groups and forums to drive traffic and generate leads for our social platforms.
- Maintaining a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
- Building like/know/trust relationships with followers.
- Enhancing post-performance through strategic engagement during optimal posting times.
- Creating and leading new initiatives to drive brand awareness and growth.
Misc:
This remote position requires a commitment to continuous learning and skill improvement. While we allow side jobs or activities outside of this role, these must not compete with, overlap, or interfere with your responsibilities on the team. Please be aware that weekend touch points are required.

Qualifications/ Experience:
- At least two years of proven experience in social media management, community engagement, digital marketing, or a related role.
- You have experience engaging with larger social media accounts.

Language Skills:
Fluent in both written and spoken English with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.
Technical Proficiency:
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), analytics tools, and content management systems.
Cultural Sensitivity:
Understanding and appreciating cultural differences to engage a global audience effectively.
Adaptability:
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and adapting outreach strategies based on analytics in real time.
Collaboration:
I have experience working in a remote team and possess excellent interpersonal skills and a strong collaborative spirit.
