Job Description: Social Media Manager

Position Overview:
Worthy Construction is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to manage our social media presence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for social media, marketing, and branding. Your role will focus on creating and executing strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
This is a full-time role, with 30–40 hours per week, offering the opportunity for long-term growth and pay increases based on performance. Flexible work hours and time off permitted.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Creation & Curation
• Develop engaging, informative, and visually appealing content (images, videos, posts) for platforms like
• Use tools like Canva or Descript to create content that aligns with Worthy Construction’s brand.
• Write compelling captions and calls-to-action that reflect our voice and values.
• Video Editing
• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms, ensuring content is optimized for each platform (e.g., reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos).
• Use video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Descript, or CapCut.
• Add text overlays, transitions, graphics, and sound to create professional, attention-grabbing content.
• Social Media Strategy & Scheduling
• Plan and maintain a social media content calendar.
• Schedule posts using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
• Research and implement best practices to increase reach and engagement.
• Community Engagement
• Monitor comments, messages, and reviews, ensuring prompt and thoughtful responses.
• Engage with followers and other relevant accounts to build a strong online community.
• Analytics & Reporting
• Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.).
• Provide regular reports on social media performance and suggest improvements.
• Marketing Collaboration
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure content aligns with ongoing marketing and business development initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new social media features to keep Worthy Construction’s strategies fresh.
Qualifications:
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Experience managing social media accounts for businesses, preferably in the construction or home services industry.
• Proficiency with social media platforms
• Strong copywriting, content creation, and video editing skills.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Descript, or CapCut.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
Work Hours & Compensation:
• Hours: 30–40 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust based on business needs.
• Pay: Based on experience and qualifications.
• Work Arrangement: Fully remote.
