Sitecore Author and Web Designer

Hours: ~10-20 hrs/week (remote work environment)
Starting Rate: $8/hour
Working time: Weekdays - US Eastern Standard Time (Mornings)

Summary – We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Sitecore Author and Web Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of front-end web development principles, web design best practices, and have hands-on experience with Sitecore Content Editor, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS, and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign). You will be responsible for refreshing and redesigning web pages on the Sitecore Platform, ensuring a modern and user-friendly experience. REQUIRED: Fluency in English and with near-perfect pronunciation (Very Important), excellent internet connection. Excellent phone, email and instant messaging communication skills.
REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years’ experience in web page authoring or designing, preferably using the Sitecore Platform.
REQUIRED: Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) is highly preferred.
REQUIRED: Must use Time-tracking software - Hubstaff (will be provided)

Responsibilities
- Refresh and redesign existing web pages within the Sitecore Content Editor, implement design changes and ensure seamless functionality, and web page authoring within Sitecore.
- Utilize AEM for content management and web page updates using AEM components and templates.
- Manage and update website content, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Create and optimize landing pages for specific campaigns.
- Apply strong web design principles to enhance user experience.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) to create and edit digital assets.
- Work closely with the team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
- Troubleshoot user issues and help reach a resolution.
- Communicate effectively and provide timely updates.

Preferred Experiences and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Multimedia Arts (Web Design) or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in web authoring/designing with proficiency in Sitecore.
- Experience in using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals. Knowledge in SEO best practices is a plus.
- Excellent content management skills with experience in creating and managing landing pages.
- Excellent skills in both written and verbal communications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational & time-management skills.
- The ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- A desire to stay current with industry best practices.

Stretch Goals/responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of custom Sitecore components and templates
- Develop and maintain AEM components and templates to improve content authoring efficiency.
- Develop workflows to streamline the conversion of print materials to web content.
