Signage Design & Support

We are seeking a talented Signage Designer to join our team. You will handle projects from initial customer consultation through to final production-ready artwork. This role requires a strong balance of creative design talent, technical production knowledge, and excellent client communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Sales Liaison: Translate client briefs and sales team notes into clear visual concepts, communicating directly with customers to refine designs and secure approvals.
Multi-Format Design: Create impactful artwork for architectural signage, retail displays, ACM panel signs, window graphics, and full/partial vehicle wraps.
Production File Preparation: Prepare flawless, scaled, production-ready files with accurate cut lines, bleeds, and routing paths for fabrication.
Site & Vehicle Scaling: Work with physical measurements and vehicle templates to ensure designs fit perfectly in real-world applications.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Software Expertise: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and CorelDRAW.
Industry Experience: 2+ years of design experience specifically within the signage or large-format print industry.
Fabrication Knowledge: Strong understanding of how signs are physically built, including internal structures, mounting methods, and material limitations.
Illuminated & Structural Signage: Experience designing for and understanding the mechanics of:
Lightboxes (LED placement, acrylic faces, extrusion systems)
Illuminated Letters (3D fabricated channel letters, halo-lit, front-lit)

Freestanding Structures (Pylon signs, monoliths, basic post-and-panel frames)
Architectural Elements (Wayfinding systems, totem signs, directional arrays)
Dimensional & Retail Displays (Push-through acrylic letters, CNC-routed panels, point-of-sale stands)
Substrate Familiarity: Deep knowledge of working with Aluminium Composite Material (ACM), acrylics, metals, PVC foam boards, and digital/plotter vinyls.

This is a fast-paced turn around role and requires someone organised and happy to communicate and action quickly. It won't be fast paced all the time, but when visual concepts are needed time is critical, so we expect some down time between jobs. We just ask that whens its job on.. its full energy!
