Hey Everyone, VA Placement here with a Client looking to fill a Revenue Position Part-Time.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Short-Term Rental Revenue Assistant (Part-Time) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy for our short-term rental properties. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for full-time work as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy for short-term rental properties.
*Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and seasonal demand fluctuations. Make adjustments in Pricelabs to stay ahead of the market.
*Analyze marketing conversion metrics along with recent property performance to make marketing and pricing decisions/changes.
*Understand booking patterns, historical data, and key performance metrics (RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy) to optimize revenue.
*Manage and update rates, availability, and promotions across various booking platforms (Airbnb, VRBO,
*Collaborate with the Growth Manager about owner/client goals and expectations in regard to pricing. Develop and edit the client roster accordingly or follow per their preference.
*Utilize Pricelabs and Keydata software to automate pricing and track performance.
*Conduct regular reporting (in Keydata) and provide insights on revenue performance and areas for improvement.
*The last 1-2 hours of the shift will be working with the Growth Manager discussing the changes made or review market trends that need more attention.
*Share findings or significant trends in writing after each shift with the Growth Manager about analyzed work.
*Monitor Guesty messages from guests. There are very few messages at this hour, but there will be time when you must answer questions and assist guests with late check-ins, smart locks, or questions.
Results:
*10% increased revenue per available rental YoY (RevPAR or Revenue per Available Rental) by implementing data-driven pricing strategies.
*Improved owner satisfaction with transparent reporting and revenue growth insights.
*Strengthened market positioning by staying ahead of pricing trends and competitor movements.
*Proactive pricing changes that keep us one step ahead of the market by looking at a 1-year forecast.
*Someone who is eager to help scale this business and grow with us!
Requirements:
*Experience in pricing strategy and in the short-term rental or hospitality industry.
*Proficiency in revenue management software (Pricelabs).
*Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data for decision-making.
*Excellent communication skills for collaboration with property owners and stakeholders.
*Strong English writing and speaking skills.
*Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
*Also gets energy from working with others one-on-one. The Growth Manager will be working closely with this person at the end of the shift to strategize our weekly tasks and strategy.

*Familiarity with platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, and
*Familiarity with Guesty property management software.
*Familiarity with market data tools (KeyData or similar tools) is a bonus.
Rate & Schedule:
*Position: Part-time with an opportunity for full-time as we continue to grow.
*Pay: $7.50 an hour.
*Hours: 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. These are 12-hour shifts.
*Days: Monday and Tuesdays.
*Pay: Monthly pay.
*Time off: Time off is flexible as long as there is coverage.
*Bonus: Bonus is being restructured and to be determined.
