JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:

We are seeking a DETAIL-ORIENTED and task-oriented Product Listing Virtual Assistant with experience in E-commerce platforms such as SHOPIFY, ETSY, and FAIRE. The ideal candidate will be able to extract and process data from THESE websites and apps, ensuring high-quality output and contributing to the continuous improvement of work processes.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL: ABILITY TO ENSURE ALL PRODUCT LISTINGS ARE ACCURATE, INCLUDING DESCRIPTIONS, PRICING, AND IMAGES.

*E-Commerce Expertise:

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, especially Shopify, Etsy, and Faire.
Understanding of online retail best practices.

*Product Management:

Attention to detail in creating and editing product listings, including descriptions, images, and pricing.
Ability to spot and correct errors in product details to maintain high-quality listings.
Proactiveness in suggesting improvements for product presentation and descriptions.

*Inventory Management:

Experience managing inventory using Listing Mirror or similar software.
Ensuring accurate stock levels across platforms and resolving discrepancies efficiently.

*Communication Skills:

Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
Ability to liaise with suppliers, customers, and team members effectively.

*Problem-Solving Skills:

Proactive approach to resolving listing, inventory, or order-related issues.
Ability to suggest process improvements for better operational efficiency.

*Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) or Microsoft Office.
Basic knowledge of photo editing tools (e.g., Canva or Photoshop) for image enhancements.
Experience working with e-commerce integrations and plugins.

*Customer Focus:

Commitment to delivering excellent customer service by maintaining accurate and appealing listings.
Understanding customer needs and preferences to make relevant product suggestions.

*Time Management & Responsibility:

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Strong sense of responsibility and dependability in all assigned tasks.

*Adaptability:

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, software, and processes specific to the business.
Staying updated on e-commerce trends and best practices.

*Experience:

At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar e-commerce or virtual assistant role is preferred.


Managing SHOPIFY:

1. Product Listing Expertise
Ability to create visually appealing and well-structured product pages, including detailed descriptions, sizing guides, high-quality images, and persuasive copy tailored to the apparel audience.

2. Inventory Management Skills
Proficient in tracking and managing stock levels to avoid overselling or stockouts.
Familiarity with Shopify’s inventory tools or third-party integrations to streamline stock updates and replenishment processes.

3. Knowledge of the Apparel Market
Understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and sizing to communicate product attributes effectively and address customer expectations in the niche.

4. SEO and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
Skilled in optimizing product pages with relevant keywords to improve visibility and driving conversions by using trust signals like reviews, size charts, and lifestyle images.

5. Experience with Shopify Apps
Familiarity with popular Shopify apps for apparel stores, such as size chart apps, bundling tools, and inventory syncing tools.

6. Attention to Visual Presentation
Knowledge of how to display products attractively, using appealing photography and consistent product images that align with the brand's aesthetic.

7. Customer-Focused Mindset
Proficiency in creating FAQ sections and handling customer inquiries about sizing, materials, and shipping for the apparel niche.

8. Data Analysis and Reporting
Capable of analyzing sales trends, identifying slow-moving products, and making recommendations to improve stock turnover and profitability.

9. Multi-Channel Syncing Expertise
Ability to manage inventory across Shopify and other sales channels like Amazon, Etsy, or physical stores for seamless operations.

10. Knowledge of Returns and Exchanges in Apparel
Familiarity with the common challenges in apparel returns and implementing clear policies and solutions to handle size and fit-related returns effectively.
