We are a leading Consulting and Staffing Firm specializing in the Power, Energy, and Utilities sectors. We provide innovative staffing solutions and consulting services to help our clients tackle their most complex challenges in energy and infrastructure. We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team to build and maintain high-performance websites and web applications that support our business goals and those of our clients.

Position Overview
The Web Developer will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of websites and web applications from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have experience building websites from scratch and possess the ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams. Experience or familiarity with the Power, Energy, and Utilities sectors is highly preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities
Website Development: Design, develop, and implement websites from scratch, ensuring they are user-friendly, scalable, and performance-optimized for clients in the Power, Energy, and Utilities industries.

Custom Web Solutions: Build custom web applications and systems to meet the specific needs of our business and clients, including client portals, dashboards, and internal tools.

Technical Architecture: Develop and implement robust, efficient, and secure website architectures. Ensure websites are compatible across different devices, browsers, and platforms.

Front-End & Back-End Development: Work across both front-end and back-end technologies to deliver full-stack solutions. Create dynamic and responsive user interfaces while integrating with back-end systems.

Collaborative Projects: Collaborate with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of web technologies with business objectives.

Performance Optimization: Implement best practices in web performance optimization, including load time optimization, responsive design, and ensuring the website functions smoothly for end-users.

Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct regular testing and debugging of websites and applications to ensure their stability, security, and user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, providing technical expertise and recommending web solutions tailored to the Power, Energy, and Utilities sectors.

Documentation & Maintenance: Write and maintain technical documentation related to the development, implementation, and updates of websites. Ensure the websites are regularly maintained and up-to-date.

Industry Trends & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends in web development, including new technologies, tools, and best practices. Share knowledge with the team and apply it to improve our web offerings.

Qualifications

Experience:

3+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on building websites from scratch.

Strong experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc.) and back-end technologies (PHP, Node.js, Python, Ruby, etc.).

Proficient in databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and web hosting platforms.

Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).

Familiarity with the Power, Energy, and Utilities sectors is preferred, but not required.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of website architecture and design principles.
Ability to create responsive, mobile-friendly websites and web applications.
Familiarity with web development frameworks and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
Experience with cloud services and hosting platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Certifications in web development or related technologies are a plus.
