JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing eCommerce Company in Australia, providing Water Filtration Systems to various customers.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Manager to join our team. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical expertise. You will lead and manage all technical aspects of our ecommerce operations, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across our platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all technical aspects of our ecommerce business.
Maintain and enhance our websites and Shopify stores.
Optimize SEO, ensure seamless integration of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Amazon listings with existing systems or platforms.
Integrate and manage warehouse systems, UIPath, Zendesk, Ontraport, and Omnisend CRMs.
Utilize automation tools such as Zapier and Pabbly for workflow efficiency.
Manage Google Workspace, Domain and DNS, and password management systems.
Ensure optimal site speed and performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Oversee AI and automation projects to streamline operations.
Handle technical integrations and troubleshooting.
Maintain the Shopify Warehouse theme and ensure compatibility with our systems.
Collaborate with other departments to support technical needs and improvements.
Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and strategies.
Translate marketing requirements into technical specifications for implementation.
Provide insights and recommendations based on technical capabilities and limitations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior technical management role.
Proven experience in managing and leading technical operations within an ecommerce environment.
Proficiency in the technical aspects of platforms like Shopify, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon, and various CRM systems.
Strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
Expertise in domain management, DNS, and Google Workspace.
Experience with automation and integration tools (UIPath, Zapier, Pabbly).
Advanced knowledge of Xero for financial integrations.
Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in business processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Experience working remotely and managing tasks in a virtual environment
Preferred Technical Skills:
Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby for custom integrations.
Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, and APIs.
Understanding of CI/CD processes and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with cloud services like AWS or Google Cloud.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.
