Senior Server Administrator

We are a website design and hosting company in the US. We are looking for an experienced Senior Server Administrator to join our team, someone with a deep understanding of server setup, management, and the tools necessary to keep our systems running smoothly.

Job Overview:
As a Senior Server Administrator, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and maintaining our servers. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of WHMCS, server administration, and the general hosting industry. This is a part-time job.

Key Responsibilities:
-Server Management: Ensure servers are running efficiently and address performance issues.
- Server Maintenance: Perform regular server maintenance tasks such as updates, backups, troubleshooting, and resource management.
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level support for server-related issues and resolve escalated support tickets.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor server performance, ensure uptime, and optimize server resources for maximum efficiency.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect servers from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the support and development teams to ensure smooth operations and provide technical expertise.

Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in server administration, particularly managing dedicated and VPS environments.
- Strong experience using Virtualizor to manage dedicated and VPS servers.
- WHMCS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of WHMCS for managing billing, customer support, and server provisioning.
- Hosting Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of hosting infrastructure, server environments, and virtualization.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with teams and customers effectively.
