Job Description:
Sales Development and Account Consultant. This role combines business development and traditional sales elements, focusing on managing a high volume of inbound leads while also pursuing valuable greenfield opportunities. The ideal candidate will excel in consultative selling, relationship building, structured hard wiring for consistency, and using our comprehensive CRM system effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Lead Management (Primary Focus):
Efficiently manage and prioritize a high volume of inbound leads
Respond promptly to inquiries and qualify leads using established frameworks
Guide qualified leads through the initial stages of the sales process
Outbound Lead Generation (Secondary but Critical):
Identify and pursue greenfield opportunities in target markets
Conduct research to uncover potential high-value prospects
Utilize cold calling,
Consultative Selling
Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements
Focus on selling benefits rather than features, aligning solutions with client needs
Engage in high-level conversations demonstrating deep product knowledge
Relationship Building
Nirture long-term relationships with clients and prospects
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and customers
Build trust and credibility through consistent, value-added interactions
CRM and Tool Utilization:
Meticulously track all lead interactions and statuses in the CRM system in real-time
Ensure 100% completion of all CRM data entry by the end of each business day
Adhere strictly to established sales processes and use sales scripts as designed
Leverage sales tools effectively to enhance productivity and performance
Take full responsibility for capturing all tasks related to:
a) Optimizing all leads
b) Managing aging leads
c) Closing existing leads
d) Acquiring new leads
e) Collaborate with Maria, who is only responsible for ushering closed leads into production and acquiring reviews.
Sales Process Execution:
Guide qualified leads through the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to close
Conduct product demonstrations highlighting benefits and value propositions
Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close deals when appropriate
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Meet or exceed established performance metrics for both inbound and outbound activities
Prepare and present daily sales reports and forecasts and proactively discuss them live with management daily.
Provide insights on market trends and customer feedback to management
Continuous Learning and Development:
Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance consultative selling skills
Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Check competitors daily.
Contribute to the refinement of sales processes and strategies
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales development or account management roles
Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume inbound leads efficiently
Strong consultative selling skills with a focus on benefits-driven conversations
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales technologies
Ability to adapt quickly to established sales processes and scripts
Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience in or aptitude for pursuing greenfield opportunities
Performance Metrics:
Inbound lead response time and qualification rate
Conversion rate of inbound leads to qualified opportunities
Number and quality of greenfield opportunities identified and pursued
Overall sales pipeline value and closure rate
CRM data accuracy and adherence to established processes
