We are looking for a Senior SEO Executive to join our growing team and lead our search engine optimisation efforts. Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement advanced SEO strategies to improve organic traffic and search rankings.
- Conduct keyword research, on-page, and technical SEO audits, and make data-driven optimisations.
- Monitor website performance using tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.
Content Creation
- Oversee and produce high-quality, SEO-optimised content, including 3–5 blog posts and landing pages weekly.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and SEO best practices.
Link Building and Outreach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, community organisations (schools, apprenticeships, councils), and media outlets.
- Conduct effective outreach via
- Leverage PR tools like HARO, Cision, and Qwoted for media opportunities.
Team Leadership
- Mentor junior team members and guide them in SEO best practices.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on SEO performance metrics and trends.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Proficiency in tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and WordPress.
- Strong outreach and relationship-building skills with a focus on generating high-quality backlinks.
- Advanced knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
- Excellent content writing and editing skills for SEO-optimised content.
- Familiarity with PR platforms such as HARO, Cision, and Qwoted is a plus.
- English speaking native
