Job Title: Remote Senior Editor (DaVinci Resolve Master) – 4 Days/Week

Work Schedule: 5 Days per week (Monday - Friday, but overlapping with Australian Eastern Standard Time business hours 10:00am - 6:00pm)
Salary: $1,600 AUD per month + Mandatory 13th-Month Pay

Peavey Road Studios is an award-winning cinematic production house based in Melbourne, Australia. We create high-end films, commercials, and brand documentaries of all shapes and sizes, helping businesses and iconic brands tell their stories to the world.

We don't just "cut footage" we craft emotional story arcs. We are expanding our team and looking for a world-class Senior Editor – who lives and breathes post-production to help us elevate our post-production.

The Role:
As our Senior Editor, you will be the creative head of our post-production pipeline. You aren't just looking at a timeline; you are hunting for the magic in the raw footage, balancing music and sound design, and driving the visual language of our projects.

Because you will be dealing directly with our Australian core team, your communication must be flawless. You need to be able to accurately estimate timelines, manage your own schedule, and confidently articulate creative choices.

What You Need to Bring (Technical Requirements)

Mastery of DaVinci Resolve Studio: Minimum 5 years of heavy, professional editing experience exclusively in Resolve.
Expert Color Grading: Minimum 5 years of advanced color grading experience within DaVinci Resolve (we need to see your showreel).

Motion Graphics & After Effects: Minimum 3 years of experience in Adobe After Effects creating clean, modern transitions, titles, and basic animations.
Western Narrative Instinct: A deep understanding of Western storytelling pacing, humor, emotional beats, and cinematic aesthetics.

5 Years+ Working with an Apple computer.

Communication & Work Ethic
5/5 English Skills: Absolute fluency in spoken and written English. You must be comfortable hopping on video calls to talk through creative briefs and feedback.
