Senior Developer/Engineer (backend developer/server management)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of CI/CD processes, a strong background in RESTful API development, php/mySQL software development and proficiency in working within the AWS environment and various hosting platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using containers.
• Oversee the entire CI/CD process, ensuring code quality and efficient deployment.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using various frameworks, with a particular focus on Symfony.
• Work within the AWS environment to deploy and manage applications.
• Utilize other hosting platforms, including WP-Engine, to deploy and manage applications.
• Develop and maintain custom PHP applications.
• Work with PHP-based CMS systems such as ExpressionEngine and WordPress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Qualifications:
• Extensive experience with CI/CD processes and containerization.
• Strong knowledge of various programming paradigms and adherence to coding standards.
• Proven experience in RESTful API development, with expertise in frameworks like Symfony.
• Proficiency in AWS and other hosting platforms, including WP-Engine.
• Strong background in custom PHP application development.
• Experience with PHP-based CMS systems such as ExpressionEngine and WordPress.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other programming languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
