**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Debt Recovery & Account Management:** Oversee and manage a portfolio of delinquent B2B accounts, ensuring timely and effective collection of outstanding debts.
- **Financial Analysis:** Utilize accounting knowledge to assess financial statements, payment histories, and client records to develop optimal collection strategies.
- **Client Communication & Negotiation:** Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients to facilitate payment resolutions, negotiate payment plans, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- **Compliance & Regulations:** Ensure all collection activities adhere to relevant U.S. financial regulations, debt collection laws, and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
- **Accounting System Proficiency:** Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting tools to track financial transactions, assess account health, and generate reports related to outstanding debts.
- **Team Leadership & Training:** Provide guidance and mentorship to junior collectors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- **Reporting & Documentation:** Prepare detailed reports on collection activities, account statuses, and recovery outcomes for management review.
- **Continuous Improvement:** Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to enhance collection strategies and financial management processes.

**Qualifications:**

- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in debt collection, with a focus on B2B accounts.
- Prior experience in a senior or supervisory role is preferred.
- Experience working with an accounting firm handling multiple U.S.-based clients is required.
- **Accounting Background:**
- CPA or an accounting graduate.
- Strong knowledge of U.S.-based accounting practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- **Communication Skills:**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
- **Analytical Skills:**
- Ability to assess financial documents, identify account risks, and develop effective collection strategies.
- **Technology Proficiency:**
- Experience with collection software, CRM systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered collection tools is a plus.
