JOB OVERVIEW

We're a fast-scaling US DTC health brand on the path to 8 figures, hiring a full-time performance video editor to own ad creative.
We currently scale at $30–50k/day on Meta, and creative output is our growth bottleneck.

This is a senior, direct-response, conversion-first seat. We are NOT hiring a generalist editor.

You should NOT apply if:


? You have never edited a paid Meta ad for a DTC ecommerce brand.

? Your creative has had less than $100,000 USD in ad spend tested behind it (collective spend across all the ads you've edited — own money, or money the brand or agency spent running your ads).

? You have not worked with a 7–9 figure DTC brand directly, OR an agency that serves 7–9 figure DTC brands.

? You are applying to "explore opportunities" or "learn the industry." This role is for senior operators, not learners.

? You cannot show a portfolio of actual DTC Meta ads (UGC ads, hooks, B-rolls, exclamation videos, VSLs).

You SHOULD apply if:

? You have edited DTC Meta direct-response ads as your primary role for at least 2 years.

? The ads you've personally edited have had $100,000+ in collective ad spend tested behind them.

? You've worked at a 7–9 figure DTC brand OR an agency serving 7–9 figure DTC brands.

? You are fluent in AI video tools — Veo3, Sora, HeyGen, Higgsfield, Runway.

? You think in conversions, not "cool transitions."

? Health/wellness brand experience is a strong bonus (call this out if you have it).


What you'll do:

— Cut 6-8 ad concepts per week from briefs
— Iterate fast on winning ads, kill what isn't working
— Work directly with copywriters on direct-response concepts
— Use AI video tools alongside traditional UGC editing workflows
— Keep source files clean and organized
— Run weekly performance analysis on your ads against KPIs

Must already be strong at:

— CapCut, Premiere, After Effects
— DTC ad editing for Meta (not YouTube, not cinematic)
— UGC and direct-response formats specifically
— AI video tools: Veo3, Sora, HeyGen, Higgsfield, Runway

Non-negotiables:

— Fast and responsive — communication is the #1 thing
— Reliable on deadlines, no chasing
— Organized with files and process
— Coachable under direct, no-fluff feedback
— Comfortable in a high-accountability environment
