JOB OVERVIEW

Senior Bookkeeper, where you'll leverage your expertise in MYOB, QuickBooks, and Xero to streamline financial processes and drive operational excellence. Bring your analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting and compliance in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
-Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
-Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
-Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making.
-Implement and maintain best practices in accounting processes and systems to drive operational excellence.
-Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.


Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with proven expertise in MYOB, QuickBooks, and Xero.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
-Proven track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
-Ability to adapt to change and drive process improvements to support organizational growth.
