We’re seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic remote team and lead the development of an innovative platform for private investment tracking. Your expertise will be instrumental in redefining the financial technology landscape.

What You’ll Do:

Architect and Develop:
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and microservices that power our private investment tracking platform. Utilize technologies like Supabase for backend database and authentication support, Auth0 for secure user authentication, Netlify for efficient frontend deployment, AWS for our core cloud infrastructure, and Resend for managing transactional email communications.

Optimize Databases:
Design, implement, and fine-tune Postgres SQL databases to ensure efficient, high-performance data storage and retrieval, maintaining the integrity and reliability of our platform.

Cloud Architecture:
Leverage AWS services to create a scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. Oversee cloud deployments, automate workflows, and ensure optimal application performance in a cloud-based environment.

Develop Robust APIs:
Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate seamless data integration and support our platform’s functionality.

Automation & Web Scraping:
Implement automation solutions and web scraping tools. Experience with Selenium, BeautifulSoup, and other web scraping technologies, as well as automation platforms like n8n and Flowise, is highly desirable.

AI & Chatbot Solutions:
Develop intelligent AI-powered chatbots and design agentic workflows to enhance customer engagement and automate key operational processes.

Lead and Mentor:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:
Extensive Experience:
8+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on building scalable and secure server-side systems.

Technical Proficiency:

Backend Development: Deep expertise in building efficient and maintainable backend systems using TypeScript and Python. Experience with frameworks such as Node.js, Django, or Flask is a plus.

Database Management: Strong capabilities in SQL, including the design, execution, and optimization of complex queries.
Automation and Web Scraping: Proven experience with Selenium and other web scraping tools. Familiarity with automation services like n8n is highly desirable.

AI & Chatbot Experience: Demonstrated experience in building AI-driven solutions, including chatbots and agentic workflows, leveraging modern AI and machine learning frameworks.

Cloud Mastery:
Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation for architecting, deploying, and managing
cloud-based applications.
Modern Tech Stack:

Familiarity with:
Supabase: For backend data management and real-time capabilities.
Auth0: For robust and secure user authentication.
Netlify: For rapid, efficient deployment and hosting of frontend assets.
Resend: For handling transactional email services.

Tool Familiarity:
Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker), orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Leadership Skills:
Proven track record of leading successful projects, with the ability to solve complex problems and work independently when needed.

Collaborative Spirit:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in agile environments and proficiency in tools like Git, Asana, or Notion.
