About Integral Lift Trucks

Integral Lift Trucks is a growing Texas-based material handling company providing forklift service, parts, rentals, and equipment solutions throughout the United States. We are seeking an experienced accountant to help strengthen our accounting operations, improve financial reporting, and support company growth.

This is not a bookkeeping position. We are looking for an accounting professional who can help management understand the financial performance of the business and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable
• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Manage weekly payment recommendations
• Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation
• Resolve vendor billing discrepancies

Accounting Operations
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and month-end accruals
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Maintain fixed asset schedules
• Assist with sales tax reporting
• Support payroll accounting activities

Financial Reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis
• Monitor key financial metrics and trends
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Analyze profitability by department

Business Analysis
• Evaluate service, parts, and rental profitability
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Assist management with financial decision-making
• Develop KPI reporting dashboards

Systems & Process Improvement
• Support ERP implementation and optimization
• Improve accounting procedures and internal controls
• Document accounting workflows and SOPs
• Recommend process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience
• Experience supporting U.S.-based companies
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• CMA, CPA, or equivalent accounting certification
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar ERP systems
• Experience with inventory accounting
• Experience with equipment rental, service, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics companies
• Experience preparing management reporting packages

Key Performance Indicators

• Monthly close completed within 10 business days
• Accurate financial statements delivered on schedule
• Vendor invoices processed within 48 hours
• Balance sheet reconciliations completed monthly
• Meaningful management reporting provided to ownership
• Continuous improvement of accounting processes
