Verta Marketing, a Toronto-based full-service marketing agency specializing in B2B services and technology marketing, seeks a highly motivated Account Manager to join our dynamic team.
We are a dynamic, fast-paced, and integrated digital marketing agency. We’re best suited for motivated self-starters with the desire to learn and one day lead their own team. You will manage a portfolio of 5-12* clients, coordinating marketing projects with business owners and senior executives. The role involves client onboarding, regular calls, client reporting, project management, and ensuring project deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating excellent telephone and email etiquette.
Onboard new clients, conduct regular calls to finalize deliverables, and present performance data to achieve business goals.
Oversee project management, ensuring on-time and high-quality deliverables.
Drive client renewals and upsells, supporting the growth and development of direct reports.
Prepare and deliver weekly/monthly reporting to clients and management.
Lead communication needs, email campaigns, website updates, and advise on target markets and messaging strategies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest outbound sales tactics, tools, and strategies to implement creative ideas.
Work from 9 am EST to 5 pm EST.

Requirements:

Proven background in digital marketing as an account manager, with excellent communication skills.
2 years of experience in a client interaction role within the digital marketing/advertising industry.
Knowledge and experience in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC & Social Media.
Familiarity with Google Adwords/Analytics is preferred.
Experience in marketing data analytics and interpretation.
3+ years of experience in a client-facing role and client relationship management.
Experience creating outbound messaging sequences via LinkedIn and/or email.
Excellent time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Ability to understand complex technology and SaaS products.
Attention to detail and eagerness to learn and grow.
Coachable and capable of giving and receiving constructive feedback.
