JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolding Drafter to join our team and play a crucial role in designing and planning scaffolding structures for residential construction projects. As a Scaffolding Drafter, you will use iScaf10 software to create precise and compliant scaffolding layouts, integrating these designs with architectural and engineering plans for house-building projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong spatial visualization skills, and a solid understanding of construction safety and structural requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed scaffolding layouts using iScaf10, ensuring alignment with architectural blueprints and construction plans.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams to understand project specifications and scaffolding requirements.
- Review and interpret building plans to design scaffolding systems that provide safe, stable access and meet regulatory standards.
- Generate and manage project documentation, including design schematics, safety guidelines, and compliance reports.
- Conduct periodic assessments and update scaffolding plans, ensuring they adapt to site conditions and project changes.
- Communicate effectively with site teams to provide clear and accurate scaffold placement instructions.
- Adhere to all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards for scaffolding design and construction.

Qualifications:

-Proficiency in iScaf10 or similar scaffolding design software.
- Proven experience in scaffolding drafting, design, or related construction planning roles.
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and building code regulations related to scaffolding.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to creating accurate, high-quality plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with 3D design tools and software, with an understanding of CAD-based programs.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards, especially in the context of scaffolding and construction.
