JOB OVERVIEW

Stardex is an innovative AI-native ATS + CRM for recruiting firms. We are looking for a jack of all trades who can help us on a variety of marketing research and sales research tasks. If you perform well, we will definitely compensate accordingly over time!

Role Overview:

As a Sales and Marketing Research Assistant (with a bit of a “chief of staff” angle), your primary responsibility will be to help the founders with a variety of research-related tasks around marketing, sales, and even some operational work. You might help identify the relevant recruiting firms and the right contacts for our outreach, or build comprehensive research docs on our competitors and industry trends. You might also help with creating blog posts and internal guides to position ourselves effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1) Account Research: Thoroughly research targeted accounts to identify buying signals, market trends, and potential growth opportunities.
2) Contact Identification: Find the most relevant contacts within prospective companies, including their emails or LinkedIn profiles.
3) Marketing: Create blog posts, competitive analyses, or internal documentation on various marketing and product topics.
4) Admin Tasks: Assist with scheduling, responding to customer requests, data entry/migration for clients, and creating or refining internal SOPs.
5) Project Coordination (as needed): Support founders in coordinating cross-functional mini-projects, especially related to marketing campaigns or customer outreach.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in sales research or marketing research within a software company
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in the Philippines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of the software sales process, especially SaaS.
- Hands-on experience using CRM software and productivity tools like Notion, Slack, and ChatGPT.
- Ability to overlap 4–6 hours with the US timezone for collaboration.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to break down complex tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.
