Compensation
Journey offers a highly competitive pay structure designed to reward performance, consistency, and results.
Successful SDRs have the opportunity to earn substantial commissions and performance bonuses by generating qualified opportunities and helping fuel the Company's growth.

Position Overview
Journey is seeking energetic, relationship-driven professionals to join our team as Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
The SDR serves as the first point of contact for prospective customers and plays a critical role in generating qualified sales opportunities for the organization.
This role focuses on prospecting, outreach, lead qualification, relationship building, and appointment setting. SDRs work closely with Journey's Senior Solutions Advisors and leadership team to identify organizations that may benefit from Journey's platform and schedule qualified discovery meetings.
Successful candidates will possess strong communication skills, professionalism, persistence, and a genuine interest in helping organizations improve their sales, marketing, and customer engagement operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify prospective senior living and home care organizations
Research target accounts and decision makers
Build and maintain prospect lists
Conduct outbound prospecting through phone,
Generate qualified opportunities for the sales team
Lead Qualification
Conduct initial discovery conversations
Identify customer needs, challenges, and goals
Qualify prospects based on established criteria
Gather relevant business information
Determine next-step opportunities
Appointment Setting
Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations
Coordinate calendars with Senior Solutions Advisors and leadership
Ensure prospects are properly prepared for meetings
Maintain communication prior to scheduled appointments
CRM Management
Maintain accurate CRM records
Document outreach activities
Update lead and opportunity information
Track prospect engagement and follow-up activities
Relationship Building
Establish trust and credibility with prospects
Maintain professional and consistent communication
Build relationships with executive directors, administrators, marketers, sales leaders, owners, and operators
Industry Representation
Represent Journey professionally at conferences, webinars, networking events, and trade shows
Support lead generation initiatives and marketing campaigns
Promote Journey's mission and value proposition
Required Skills & Qualifications
Candidates must possess strong communication skills and demonstrate the ability to build relationships and generate business opportunities.
Required qualifications include:
Minimum 1–3 years of sales, customer service, business development, recruiting, hospitality, account management, or relationship management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Professional phone presence
Comfortable speaking with executive-level decision makers
Strong organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated and results-oriented
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Reliable internet access and remote work capabilities
Experience using CRM systems or similar business software

Work Environment

SDRs are responsible for managing their schedules while meeting performance expectations and maintaining responsiveness to prospects, customers, and Company leadership.
