Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Remote (Full-Time)

About Us

We are a growing UK-based Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Consultancy, delivering innovative engineering solutions across a range of sectors including commercial, hospitality, food & drink, industrial, distilleries, healthcare and education.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help expand our client base by identifying opportunities, generating leads and booking meetings for our senior management team.

This is a remote role with long-term career potential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

* Research and identify potential clients across the UK.
* Build targeted prospect lists including:

* Architects
* Project Managers
* Main Contractors
* Property Developers
* Distilleries
* Hotels
* Food & Beverage Manufacturers
* Commercial Property Owners
* Conduct outbound prospecting via:

* Email
* LinkedIn
* Telephone (where appropriate)
* Qualify prospects and identify potential engineering project opportunities.
* Book discovery meetings and appointments for the Managing Director.
* Maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
* Follow up previous enquiries and dormant contacts.
* Monitor planning applications and construction news for potential projects.
* Keep prospect databases clean and up to date.
* Assist with LinkedIn outreach campaigns and networking follow-ups.
* Work alongside the marketing team to support lead generation initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Success in this role will be measured by:

* Number of qualified leads generated.
* Number of meetings booked each month.
* CRM data accuracy.
* Prospect engagement rates.
* Opportunities progressed into proposals.
* Contribution to overall sales pipeline growth.

Required Skills

* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Strong research and internet investigation skills.
* Confident communicating with senior professionals.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Experience using LinkedIn for business development.
* Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive or similar) is advantageous.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
