JOB OVERVIEW

The Role
We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to focus on driving organic growth in the U.S. market. In this role, you will develop and execute SEO strategies to optimize Berlitz’s U.S.- based digital presence. You will work across teams to ensure technical, on-page, and offpage SEO excellence while managing SEO reporting, content optimization, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, pro-active, data-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

SEO & Digital Strategy
• Develop and implement an SEO strategy tailored to the U.S. market to increase organic visibility and traffic.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and market analysis to inform SEO tactics.
• Ensure best practices for on-page and off-page SEO, including link building and technical optimization.
• Collaborate with development teams to maintain technical SEO compliance and develop new features/opportunities.
• Execute SEO optimizations directly on the CMS.
• Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance, providing actionable, data-driven insights.
• Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, adapting strategies accordingly.

Content Optimization
• Collaborate with the content team to optimize website copy, blogs, and landing pages for SEO performance.
• Ensure content aligns with Berlitz’s brand voice, services, and marketing objectives.
• Identify and implement improvements to existing content based on keyword opportunities and performance data to increase traffic and lead generation
• Explore and experiment with new content formats (e.g., videos, infographics, podcasts) to enhance user engagement and SEO results.

Project Coordination
• Manage SEO-related projects, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (content, development, brand, paid marketing, social media) to align SEO efforts with broader business goals.
• Work with freelancers, vendors, and agencies as needed to support SEO initiatives.

About You

Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO, ideally with a focus on the U.S. market.
• Strong working knowledge of SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Experience implementing SEO optimizations through CMS platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make datadriven recommendations.
• Exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate across teams.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated: You take ownership of tasks and deliver results.

Bonus Points (Not Mandatory)
• Spanish language skills.
• Experience in the language education or edtech industry.
• Familiarity with SEO for multilingual or culturally adapted content
