SEO - Internal Linking Expert with Rank Math/Yoast Experience

I am looking for an SEO specialist to join our team. The right candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with SEO, preferably with Local SEO and organic tactics.

Your job will include going through very large websites (from 100-2500 pages, all done in Wordpress), to create internal linking structures, create an easy to understand site structure, and ensure each page has the correct outbound links per page. You will also be responsible to ensure ALT tagging is correct and schema data is correct (usually will be).

Other duties (not a must, but nice if you are familiar with these concepts) you will be responsible for will include creating backlinks for pages, cloud pages and sites to run traffic through, and a deep understanding of tier 1, 2, and 3 backlinks and how to properly run them to help with SEO.

You must be a self starter who understands how SEO works, and be open to learning new things. I will be happy to provide courses and additional paid training once you have established yourself as the go to person. You must have extreme attention to details, as it is what Google requires of all sites these days. As part of the interview process of the job, I will give you some task that will be unpaid, as well as a test to see your strengths. It is to see how well you work, what tactics you use, and how well you can document what you have done. SEO is a marathon, but I still need to know what steps have been taken from the beginning to the end.

I would prefer it if you worked on California time, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am-5pm. I pay twice a month, typically via Wise, on the 1st and 16th of the month. The Pay on the 16th covers the time from the 1st-15th, and the pay on the 1st covers the pay from the 16th-End of month. All time tracking is based on the California Time.
