SEO Blog Writer & Content VA

Rubber Ducky Sunscreen is seeking a talented and independent worker to assist with technical SEO and blog post writing and content creation for our USA based sunscreen brand. Rubber Ducky Sunscreen produces a physical consumer product that we sell through our Shopify online store. We recently launched our new website (www.rubberducky.com) in 2023 and have a low Domain Authority and want to increase it organically over the next six months.

Our primary focus is writing SEO driven keyword blog content that will boost our online visibility, increase organic traffic and increase conversion rates. Through competitor research and content research, we will put a content plan in place to create quality, sharable and expert positioned content on our website.

A qualified candidate must be able utilize both AI content creation tools, but also have manual writing skills to overcome search engine suppression tools. We want to create compelling, useful and engaging content that women and moms will find useful in their search for SPF related products. All content must pass 100% plagiarism checks with Grammarly and other content tools.

Opportunities within this job:
• Multiple blog posts researched, written, fact-checked and optimized per week
• Keyword research and reporting
• SEO technical analysis
• Blog post creation based on 2024 best practices with word count, topics, etc

• On-page blog optimization
• Content re-writing
• Internal content linking on blog posts
• Content calendar and content creation

Job Requirements:
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills
• Must have your own SEO keyword research tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc
• Experience in basic graphic design skills to create infographics or graphics related to blogging
• Must have experience in writing SEO blog content with examples
• The ability to work independently and communicate through shared collaboration tools such as Google Sheets, Slack or WhatsApp
• Ability to work 20 hours per week (4 hours per day x 5 days a week). Schedule and time are flexible
• Ability to track time and report on Friday at 3pm (Eastern Time Zone)
