Role Overview:
As the SDR Team Lead at Leopard.FYI, you will lead a team of 4 in managing and optimizing our lead generation processes. Your primary role will involve overseeing the quality of leads, maintaining our CRM system, ensuring up-to-date and compelling copy across all platforms, and fostering a feedback-driven, collaborative work environment. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to engage effectively with potential clients and maintain high standards across all lead-generation activities.
During this interview process we're excited to learn more about your strategies for improving lead generation processes and how you've contributed to the overall success of sales and marketing efforts. Be prepared to discuss your past leadership roles, especially how you've managed SDR or similar teams.
Key Responsibilities:
???? Lead Management: Oversee the daily operations of the SDR team, ensuring efficient lead generation and high-quality outreach. Implement processes to audit and improve the quality of leads generated by the team.
???? CRM Management: Manage and maintain the CRM system to ensure all client information is accurate and up-to-date. Work with operations to improve systems.
???? Quality Control: Regularly review and update sales scripts and
????? Process Optimization: Collaborate with operations and marketplace teams to refine lead generation and follow-up processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
???? Team Development: Mentor and develop tea
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lead Generation Skills: Experience researching prospects on Linkedin and booking meetings
- CRM Skills: Experience keeping a CRM up to date with latest notes and records, preferably across a team
- Meeting Booking Experience: Proficiency in coordinating and scheduling meetings between multiple busy stakeholders.
- Writing Skills: Ability to craft engaging messaging that reflect the Leopard's' value prop
- Remote Experience: Previous experience working in a remote environment and managing remote relationships effectively.
Bonus Points for:
- Tech Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the tech industry trends, software engineering, and startups are a plus
- Technical Recruiting Skills: Experience in building candidate searches, taking client feedback, updating preferences, and matching candidates to open roles.
Compensation & Benefits: Full Time schedule at $8 an hour with significant bonuses available when you help make successful placements. We also offer PTO days and holidays.

Interview Process and How to Prepare:

????Step 1: Takehome Assessment (Reviewed by Team)
In order to be considered for the SDR Lead role, you will need to wow us on the Leopard take-home assessment. We use the same takehome across all markets and roles (US, PH, etc) and we find that it gives us great signal on attention to detail, which is key in this role and in all roles at Leopard.
We recommend following the writing style guide to keep your communication clear and friendly, using short sentences, proper punctuation, and an approachable tone. We aim to assess your written communication and ability to troubleshoot quickly and successfully.
????Step 2: Introductory Call with Angella (SDR Team)
If you impress us on the take-home, we’ll move forward with an introductory phone call where we get to know each other. During this call, we’ll share more about Leopard, the role, our team culture, and what we’re looking for. This is your opportunity to ask any questions about the role, compensation, team dynamics, and anything else on your mind. Things that will help you stand out in the process:

As you move forward in the interview process, you will have in-depth conversations with key members of the Leopard team. These interviews are designed to assess how well you align with our values, how you approach candidate support, and your ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed, asynchronous environment. Here’s what to expect during each conversation:
Topgrade Call with Noems (Candidate Team Lead): ?????
In your 1 hour interview with Noems, she will assess how well you have navigated challenges, handled key responsibilities, and grown in previous roles. We use the Topgrading interview format, designed to help get a comprehensive understanding of your past experiences and performance across your career. Expect her to ask for additional detail and context about the highs, lows, and reasons for leaving each role & why you chose the next one.
3. Lead Generation Deep Dive With Tutchie (SDR Team) ????
In this 30-minute session, you'll talk through your lead generation experience with one of our senior SDR tea
4. CRM Deep Dive & Q&A with Carolina (Head of Ops) ????
This 30-minute session will discuss how you have utilize dCRM systems to support SDR activities without focusing on optimization. Carolina will ask about your experiences with different CRM platforms, how you ensure the CRM supports the team's sales activities, and the ups and downs of your previous CRMs. The goal of this call is to get a sense of how our systems work and to see if we think you could make meaningful strides within our systems.
5. Final Founders Interview with Lexi and Jordan ????
In this final 1 hour session, you’ll engage in a discussion about your leadership style and how you've handled various challenges within an SDR team. Lexi will present hypothetical situations such as dealing with underperforming tea
Jordan will review your experience with sales teams, focusing on how you manage SDR workflows and prioritize sales pipelines to enhance team productivity. She will also seek your insights on performance management to understand how you drive and measure team success.
If that goes well we'll make you an offer and hopefully you'll accept! Then there will be a 1 month training trial period, followed by 2 months of ramp and then hopefully you'll be fully ramped in the lead role at month three.
