JOB OVERVIEW

Revit Architect/Engineer — US Architecture Firm
(Include the word ELEVATION in your subject line)

We are a US-based architecture firm in Santa Monica, California producing residential and commercial construction documents. We need skilled Revit architects/engineers to join our growing remote production team.

Pay is based entirely on what you can do. If you draft floor plans in Revit, that is one rate. If you can run a full set of construction documents from SD through CD, coordinate with engineers, respond to city comments, email clients, and manage junior staff — that is a very different rate. Show us what you bring.

What You'll Do (Depending on Your Level)
All candidates must be able to:
- Produce construction documents in Revit, Architecture, structural & MEP — plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules
- Work in US Imperial units (feet and inches, not metric)
- Follow US building standards, title block formats, and sheet organization
- Model accurately and keep files clean and organized
- Meet deadlines and communicate clearly in English
- Have a degree and license in Architecture, Civil or MEP engineering

Mid-level candidates should also be able to:
- Produce a full set of CDs with minimal supervision
- Set up Revit templates, families, and project standards
- Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP engineers
- Redline response and plan check comment resolution
- Research building codes and zoning requirements as needed

Senior candidates should also be able to:
- Manage projects from schematic design through permit
- Email and coordinate directly with clients, engineers, and city plan checkers
- Review and QC work from junior tea ---------- mbers
- Structural and/or MEP Revit coordination (not just architectural)
- Manage project schedules and flag delays proactively
- Mentor and guide junior architects on standards and workflow

What We're Looking For
- Strong Revit skills — this is non-negotiable, Revit is our primary tool
- US Imperial units experience — if you have only worked in metric, this is not the right fit
- Experience with US-based architecture firms is a major plus
- MEP and/or Structural Revit coordination experience earns higher pay
- Client communication and project management experience earns higher pay
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-directed
- Good written English — you will calling and emailing clients and city departments directly

Work Details
- Full-time, remote, work from home
- Monday – Saturday, 48 hours per week
- Must have overlap with US Pacific Time for coordination
- Pay range: $1.50 – $5.00/hr USD depending on experience and capabilities
- Payment via Wise (PHP, monthly invoicing, payable 15 days from first day of month)
- Time tracking via Hubstaff is required — this is non-negotiable
- Communication via Google Chat (primary) and ---------- (screen and camera sharing during all working hours)

Pay Tiers (To Be Transparent)
- $1.50 – $2.00/hr: Junior — Revit drafting and modeling under supervision
- $2.00 – $3.50/hr: Mid-level — Full CD sets, engineer coordination, comment response
- $3.50 – $5.00/hr: Senior — Project management, client communication, MEP/Structural, staff management

Your starting rate will be based on the interview. If you grow into more responsibility, your rate grows with you.
