Remote QA Software Tester (Contractor)

We are looking for a motivated QA Software Tester to join our remote team and help ensure the quality of our business software applications.

You will work closely with developers and support staff to identify issues, verify fixes, and improve the overall reliability and user experience of our software products.

We are particularly interested in candidates who understand how to effectively use modern AI tools to improve testing productivity while maintaining strong critical thinking and attention to detail.

What You'll Be Doing

- Testing new software features and enhancements
- Creating and executing test plans and test cases
- Reporting and tracking bugs
- Performing regression and user acceptance testing
- Using AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage
- Working with an Australian software development team

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of software testing or QA experience
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience writing test cases and bug reports
- Good English communication skills
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot in a professional workflow
- Ability to identify issues that AI tools may overlook

Bonus Skills

- Experience testing .NET applications
- MySQL or MariaDB knowledge
- API testing experience
- Test automation experience
- POS, Retail, Hospitality, or ERP software experience

Work Arrangement

• This position is fully remote and open to candidates based in the Philippines.
• Candidates located in Clark, Pampanga, or nearby areas are preferred.
• While the role is currently remote, applicants should be willing to work from an office in Clark, Pampanga up to three days per week should a local office be established in the future.
