We are seeking a professional, motivated, and confident cold caller to help grow advertising sales for a local community magazine. This role is focused on reaching out to business owners, introducing our publication, and generating interest or setting appointments for our sales process.
The ideal candidate is someone who communicates clearly, sounds natural on the phone, and is comfortable speaking with business owners. This is a remote position with the opportunity to play an important role in the growth of our magazine launch.
Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to local business owners.
Introduce our magazine and advertising opportunities in a professional way.
Follow a provided script while sounding natural and conversational.
Handle objections with confidence and professionalism.
Set appointments or generate qualified interest.
Record call results, notes, and follow-up details accurately.
Maintain a positive, energetic, and goal-oriented attitude.
Schedule (Important)
You must be available to call between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
This is a remote position in the Philippines.
Eastern Standard Time is the time zone used in the U.S. East Coast (e.g., New York, Florida).
You must be able to work during these hours for all cold-calling activities.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in cold calling, appointment setting, telemarketing, or sales.
Strong spoken English with a clear and professional phone voice.
Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
Confident handling objections and follow-up conversations.
Self-motivated, reliable, and disciplined.
Strong internet connection and a quiet work environment.
Able to work independently and follow instructions carefully.
Preferred Experience:
B2B sales experience.
Experience with local service businesses or advertising sales.
Experience using CRM tools or call tracking systems.
Prior success in booking appointments or generating sales leads.
Compensation:
We offer a base pay + commission/performance bonus structure:
Base pay: $4.00 per hour
Bonus per appointment set: $3 for each qualified appointment booked and shown
Bonus per appointment sold: $20 for each contract signed from an appointment you set
Commission details will be discussed and confirmed during onboarding.
