We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Rebate Assistant to support the rebate processing and management activities for our company. This role will involve assisting with tracking, processing, and reconciling rebates and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in processing and tracking rebate claims submitted by customers.
Verify and validate rebate documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain and update rebate records in the company’s database or rebate management system.
Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding rebate status and issues.
Process rebate payments and issue refunds, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Prepare rebate reports for management, outlining the status and value of rebates.
Reconcile rebate accounts and assist in resolving discrepancies.
Assist with data entry and ensure all rebate information is accurately recorded.
Monitor and ensure the timely processing of rebates to meet deadlines.
Support the development and improvement of rebate processes and systems.
Assist in the preparation of any related financial or accounting reports.
Handle customer inquiries regarding rebate status and program guidelines.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in administrative, accounting, or customer service roles.
Experience with rebate programs or similar promotional activities is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Desired Skills:
Experience with rebate software or database management systems.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and finance.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
