Summary
Part-time or full-time virtual assistant with experience sending photos to clients, editing/fixing photos and videos of houses for real estate.
What a typical day may look like:
1) Submit photos to AutoHDR from Dropbox (our photographers upload at the end of the day Toronto time.
2) Make sure the photos look good and make any necessary adjustments to fix the photos either in Lightroom or within AutoHDR.
3) upload photos to Aryeo (platform to send media to real estate agents) and send to clients.
4) review videos from our editing team in Vietnam, provide feedback and revision to our Vietnam team if there are any glitches or fixes needing to be made.
5) upload final video to Aryeo to send to our clients (same listing portal as photos)
6) the above should take up most of the day, if there is extra time (especially in slower seasons), assist with our marketing and social media and other administrative tasks.
About the Company
We are a growing real estate media company based in Canada. We provide high-quality photography, videography, and marketing content for real estate agents. We need a reliable Media Editor & QC Virtual Assistant who can work while we sleep so listings are ready for our North American clients in the morning.
Photos Quality Assurance
We use AutoHDR for our photo editing. Sometimes the program makes mistakes and we need someone with a good eye and attention to detail to make those fixes before sending to the client.
Video Quality Assurance
We have a separate video editing vendor in Vietnam, you would review the videos and provide any feedback and fixes to our video editing team or be able to make simple fixes yourself.
Job Responsibilities
- Edit and enhance real estate photos (straightening slanted/horizontal lines, exposure, white balance, composition improvements, lens correction, etc.).
- Perform quality control on photos and ensure professional standards for composition, lighting, and overall appeal.
- Use AutoHDR and/or Lightroom for photo editing and fixes.
- Review video tours edited by our team in Vietnam using Final Cut Pro. Make minor fixes (color, cuts, stabilization, etc.) or provide clear revision notes to the editor if major changes are needed.
- Deliver completed media packages through Aryeo to clients.
- Maintain consistent brand standards and meet tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing real estate photos with a strong eye for composition, lighting, and fixing slanted/horizontal images.
- Experience delivering media through Aryeo.
- Comfortable using (or quick to learn) AutoHDR for photo enhancement.
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro for basic video fixes and QC.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- High-speed, stable internet connection with reliable power backup (no frequent outages) — this is critical as tasks are urgent and time-sensitive.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
