Cool Cat Fence is a fast-growing U.S.-based fencing contractor specializing in residential and commercial fencing solutions. As we continue to grow, we are strengthening our operational processes and customer experience by expanding our scheduling team.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Rescheduler / Scheduling Coordinator Contractor to support project scheduling, customer communication, and production coordination. This is a critical operational role focused on ensuring projects remain properly scheduled, resources are utilized efficiently, and customers receive timely communication throughout the scheduling process.

Position Overview

This is a remote independent contractor role supporting U.S. scheduling and operations functions. The Project Rescheduler / Scheduling Coordinator Contractor will manage project rescheduling requests, coordinate scheduling adjustments, communicate with customers and field teams, and help maintain accurate scheduling records.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, proactive, and capable of managing multiple scheduling priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage project rescheduling requests and coordinate schedule adjustments
Communicate with customers regarding scheduling changes, delays, and availability
Coordinate with field crews, foremen, and management regarding project timelines
Maintain accurate scheduling records and project calendars
Monitor scheduling conflicts and proactively identify solutions
Verify project readiness before scheduled installation dates
Assist with production planning and crew utilization tracking
Document scheduling changes and maintain detailed records
Follow established scheduling procedures and operational workflows
Provide timely updates to management regarding scheduling issues and project status
Support customer service efforts by ensuring clear and professional communication
Assist with administrative and operational coordination tasks as assigned
Qualifications
2–5+ years of scheduling, project coordination, administrative, dispatching, or customer service experience wanted but not required
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience using scheduling software, CRMs, spreadsheets, or project management systems
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Comfortable working independently in a remote contractor environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
