Product Sourcing Specialist / Production Manager

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Sourcing Expert & Production Coordinator. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various manufacturing methods and product materials, coupled with exceptional sourcing and negotiation skills. They will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing manufacturers, ensuring that our products are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively without compromising on quality. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing the production and coordination of goods being manufactured, creating systems to streamline processes, updating internal softwares and tracking sheets and keeping our teams updated and ahead of any issues.

**Responsibilities:**
- Research, identify, and onboard new suppliers and manufacturers, both domestically and internationally, across diverse regions including Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America.
- Collaborate closely with design and production teams to understand client requirements and specifications.
- Source materials and components from multiple vendors to achieve the best product quality at the most competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to maximize value and cost savings.
- Coordinate production schedules and timelines to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Manage the production process, overseeing manufacturing activities, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
- Develop and implement systems and procedures to streamline sourcing and production processes, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
- Keep teams updated on project status, proactively addressing any issues or challenges that may arise.


**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree or direct experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, and production coordination, preferably within the product, furniture, display or fixtures manufacturing or retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of different manufacturing processes and materials, with the ability to assess quality and suitability for specific projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in sourcing tools and platforms, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, .
- Ability to self start and manage while working from home, bring ideas and streamline processes for greater efficiency.
