Product Sourcing Specialist

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM China Time


Job Description:

As a Product Sourcing Specialist at our company, you will be instrumental in sustaining the growth and profitability of our business. Your primary responsibility will be to source products relentlessly from Alibaba and other similar platforms, ensuring that we secure the best quality products at the most competitive prices. We are seeking a dynamic individual who can negotiate effectively with multiple suppliers and maintain a keen eye for details while handling a high volume of product information.


Responsibilities:

- Product Sourcing:
- Constantly source products from Alibaba and similar platforms.
- Identify products that meet the company’s quality and pricing standards.
- Supplier Negotiation:
- Engage and negotiate with up to 100 factories and suppliers simultaneously to secure the best prices.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable supply chain.
- Reporting and Record Keeping:
- Regularly update product and supplier details on the Asana platform.
- Provide detailed reports of sourced products, including specifications, pricing, and supplier details.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product sourcing, preferably with Alibaba and similar platforms.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful price negotiations.
- Proficiency in using the Asana platform for reporting and record-keeping.
- Strong analytical skills to assess product quality and supplier reliability.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
